Life Flight

On August 15th, Life Flight hosted a spectacular night of fundraising and entertainment at our sixth Life Flight Gala Dinner, presented by Hiremaster. With five successful galas behind us, this sixth edition surpassed all expectations. Our incredible partners, sponsors, and friends, the crew behind the crew, gathered at the heart of our operations to meet the team, marvel at the gorgeous space, and raise vital funds. This year, the incredible generosity in the room raised over $121,000! 

Guests were welcomed into our aircraft hangars, which had been transformed by our event sponsor, Hiremaster, into a luxurious, five-star venue. With canapes served right next to the Westpac Chopper and the Air Ambulance plane hangar becoming a beautiful banquet hall. Nation-beloved Hilary Barry welcomed the guests as our MC, and after dinner, we heard the touching patient story of Kapiti grandparents, Deb and Greg. 

A heartfelt thank you to Hiremaster for their tireless work and dedication, transforming our rather functional hangar into a truly spectacular venue year after year. Across the six galas, Hiremaster has raised over $600,000. A remarkable achievement owed to Hiremaster and the fantastic event sponsors over the years. 

Special appreciation goes to AV Media for crafting a stunning atmosphere, Star Hospitality for providing delectable food and catering, Pak’nSave Petone, our outstanding wine sponsor, and DB Breweries our wonderful beer sponsor.
