Events Manager
- Location: Wellington
- Team: Fundraising, Marketing and Communications
- Hours: 32 – 40 hours per week, negotiable.
As Life Flight’s Events Manager, you’ll manage the full spectrum of our events portfolio, from small community gatherings, golf days, our annual gala, and large-scale events with 1,000+ attendees. These events are an essential income stream for Life Flight, directly funding lifesaving missions. You’ll be responsible for nurturing, growing and developing this vital channel by:
- Owning and delivering the entire lifecycle for events – from strategy, planning, execution and evaluation
- Overseeing the financial success of the events portfolio, ensuring a strong return on investment and budget management
- Crafting compelling content for event promotion
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors and suppliers
- Overseeing and coordinating volunteers required for events
- Working closely with the wider Life Flight team to ensure smooth event execution

As Corporate Services Administrator you will provide exceptional administrative support to both our Corporate Services Team and our Marketing, Fundraising and Communications Team. You will provide day-to-day assistance for staff and ensure that every supporter and sponsor (both in person and virtually) receives top-notch care.
You’ll excel with your adaptability and prioritisation skills. You’ll carry out administrative tasks like ordering and restocking supplies, liaising with contractors on building and equipment maintenance, and assisting with events and office catering. You will also be the external face of Life Flight – providing a fabulous experience to our supporters.
